The following notes inform you about which personal data we process when you use this website, for which purposes this is done and which rights you are entitled to under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. No cookies, no tracking — This website uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking services, and no services provided by Google or other third parties. No usage profiles are created.

3. Hosting and server log data — This website is operated on our own server. When you access the website, the server automatically processes technical access data (so-called server logs), in particular the IP address of the requesting device, the date and time of access, the page accessed, the browser used and the operating system. This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure stable and secure operation. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and functional provision of the website). The log data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected.

4. Contact form and membership application — If you send us a message via the contact form or apply for membership via the application form, we process the data you provide exclusively to handle your enquiry or your application. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures and performance of a contract) and, beyond that, your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future. The data is stored until your enquiry has been dealt with and is then deleted, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.

5. No disclosure to third parties — Your personal data is not passed on to third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so.

6. Your rights — You have the right to obtain information about the personal data concerning you (Art. 15 GDPR), the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and the right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).

7. Right to lodge a complaint — You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The supervisory authority responsible for us is: The Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Wiesbaden.

8. No automated decision-making — Automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR does not take place.
