Our Mission
The DAW offers its members a regular platform for contact with decision-makers from politics, diplomacy and business, and for exchanging experience with entrepreneurs who successfully maintain business relations in and with Asia. Across the entire Asia-Pacific region, the DAW provides access to experts from all business-relevant consulting and legal fields and maintains close ties to the Asian embassies and the diplomatic corps.
With more than 2,500 registered companies and institutions, the DAW is one of the largest and most influential organisations in Germany with regard to Asia. The DAW receives neither public funding nor government subsidies and is financed entirely by the private sector.
This makes the DAW the only independent organisation of this scale in Germany.
