Jochen Sautter

Jochen Sautter is President Director and co-founder of PT PRIME Consultancy, a company established in Indonesia under foreign investment law, active in management consulting and in property development and management. Many of our clients come from Germany or other European countries. We support them with market entry, corporate restructuring, distributor searches, personnel development and corporate finance. Jochen Sautter's long-standing experience and business relationships spanning more than 20 years are often the key to lasting success.

From March 1997, Jochen Sautter founded and, as managing director, ran the "German Centre for Industry and Trade" on the outskirts of Jakarta, building it up from scratch until its sale. Over these 16 years he supported more than 200 companies with rental space and consulting services and made the German Centre a central point of contact for German entrepreneurs engaged in a wide range of Indonesian business fields. This business incubator was sold in April 2013, and PRIME Consultancy took over the remaining letting activities from the former owner, L-Bank, in 2017.

Before relocating to Indonesia, Mr Sautter worked for two years at L-Bank, shortly after completing his degree in business administration at the University of Mannheim. For several years he was also a board member of the German-Indonesian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (EKONID), treasurer and deputy chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham) in Indonesia, and led several tsunami relief projects in Aceh.
